Cancer May Have Finally Met Its Match!

The mission is improbable, but not impossible!

INTRO:
There are over 100 different cancers affecting organs and tissues throughout the entire body. And there can be lots of differences between them, like what caused them, what type of cell they formed from, and how severe they are.

But they all have one thing in common - it's the thing that allows them to grow and spread indefinitely. And if scientists can find a way to stop it, they could stop cancer.

My dad died from cancer a couple years back. I seriously hope that this is truly the end to this horrible disease.

I lost my grandfather to lung cancer. He underwent chemo for years and for the most part it seemed to be working. But the day I lost him was devastating. The last time I saw him his feet were curled up and purple, he was so weak he could hardly talk. The only speech he gave was very raspy and weezing. But he mustered all of his strength to tell me and my two younger brothers "i love you." Then he looked at my grandma and told her "tell them I love them" then he looked at my dad and said "please take care of them" the next day we got the report that he died in his sleep. His funeral was the most I've ever cried.

As someone who's currently going through chemo for follicular lymphoma, this video makes me happy! I wouldn't wish this disease on anyone.

Edit: Holy crap, thank you all for your support! My 3rd of 6 rounds will be on February 1st and I'm getting a scan to see how much my chemo has helped. Thank you all so much!

Edit 2: I got my recent scan results back, and nothing was found! I'm going to be cured, and not have to worry about it returning! I'm so excited! After my last round of treatment in early May I will be able to ring the cancer bell, and will be given a bunch of gifts from my care team!

Back in 2017, my mom had cancer. Specifically breast cancer, it was pretty severe, it was stage 3 cancer. From 2017-2019, my mom battled the cancer. She went through chemotherapy several times and eventually got pretty sick. When I found out, I was devastated. She tried to stay strong and did, I’m really proud of her for that, but eventually it got to her. She started being less active and mostly sleeping or relaxing. I can understand that, but, she was really miserable. But in 2019, she went through surgery. I had to be taken in by my moms friend for about a week. It felt like a year. I don’t believe in god but, I prayed for my mom to be well. On the night of the surgery, I heard my mom was undergoing surgery to remove the tumor.

I was sickly worried and couldn’t sleep. But luckily, she survived it. But I heard from my mom that when she was going through it, the doctors/operators told her she almost flatlined, (died). I was shocked and started crying, but I was also overjoyed my mom was safe! I had to help her recover though, I wish I could’ve done more. After 4 months, she recorded and is officially cancer-free!

To anyone who’s going through this, just have hope, you can do it. I was lucky that the procedure was successful. Please, don’t give up, there’s hope. I wish everyone not to get this life-threatening disease.

3:40 yes, part of the reason why I immediately opened this video from the push notifications is because my mother suffers from Breast and bone cancer. She’s had breast cancer for 4 years diagnosed now and it kept developing. 4 years of grieving and preparing for the worst, and it still feels rough to think that she has roughly a year left if not less with her current health. You’ld think that the 4 years of mentally preparing for her leaving us will make us stronger, it has but, it still stings so much. That’s why, I feel like we should be conscious of our healthy days and live to the fullest. My mother was someone who always had to take care of her 6 kids and husband with no breaks. It’s unfortunate that she couldn’t make her dreams come true, and always grinded day and night on hard work for us. So, it’s really important that we love ourselves and take care of our bodies, all while we can. And love each day, because tomorrow is not promised, but it can be looked forward to with a healthy heart and mind.

My grandfather died of spinal cancer just last month. He had played such a big role in my life. He was always so energetic and lively, to see him go is baffling to me. It hurts.

My grandpa died of cancer 7 years ago. He was a great man. When they diagnosed him with cancer, they estimated he would live for 2 weeks. He resisted for 8 years

i lost my father in 2019 to prostate cancer, and my young sister to stomach cancer 5 months ago, it's the pain they go through that's devastating mentally, i was the last one to talk to my father, to this day sometimes i cant believe he is gone, i hope one-day cancer will become another disease humanity defeats in history books.

My mom had breast cancer and it was a huge tumor. My mom had to go through 3 surgeries to make it go away. She is now going through chemo which is darking her nails and plucking them off. Her journey so far is amazing, and I am proud of her for always staying strong. 😊

I've been grieving a lot after loss of my comfort streamer and YouTuber Technoblade, he was just something else man, it felt like he is better than every single youtuber on this platform, wise, funny, and also being pro at Minecraft. His interactions with the community were, just great, and when he got diagnosed with cancer he decided to use his full potential to gather in charity as much money as it is possible for sarcoma foundation and they managed to get almost 2 million USD. Rest in peace Alex, you will be missed but never forgotten by your community.

I've lost two people in my life fairly recently from cancer and another battling it, if this really is becoming a reality; holy shit, just, holy shit, I'll *FINALLY* rest a little bit easier with this. 8)
I've spent over five years with that demon in my life and I'm actually starting to feel happy, like legitimately happy, from this. Thank you all *SO* much for saying this, it means the WORLD to me for now knowing. =)

My great granddad died of cancer, and my grandpa, and my dad, and mom, a few aunts and uncles.
Seeing all of them go in that way is so sad, and also a scary thought for the future.
I hope this research advances quickly.

My grandma died to a very rare type of cancer, barely anyone gets it. So there was no medicine to treat it at all. Cause the doctors only make medicines on the big cancers. You can fill in the blanks to what happened to her. I wish everyone the best, and to have a great Christmas with loved ones! Make some memories!

Cancer has definitely impacted my family in multiple ways. Looking forward to when we can make this a thing of the past. Great work, SENS!
