Let’s talk about the Medtronic MiniMed 780G.. Medtronic users, will you be upgrading?

My A1c was 5.9. This thing works perfectly the 780 handles it. I love it.

Im on the 780G since 3 days now, coming from the 640G. It is so good, I love it so far, smart guard will be enabled on Tuesday next week, Im so looking forward to it.

Just upgraded about a month ago. Been on the medtronic insulin pump since 2002 . Every few years, they come out with a new pump or upgrade. All the different pumps I've had over the years have worked well. The new auto bolus is great. Got to say I'm impressed. It's been a good company for me. The only issue I had with the new cgm is the back of the arm is the only place for it. Means I have to drive to a friend's house to get it attached . I can't myself. Kinda a big inconvenience. I've been doing this stuff myself since I was a kid. Went to a diabetic camp in 87 they taught me to inject myself I was 7. Kinda like being independent. Anyway whoever is looking to move to a pump the minimed 780g is a good pump.

I'm waiting for my current pump to be out of warranty so I can get this. I can't hardly wait! I think I have a week and a half left to wait.

I was hesitant at first, but Medtronic hit a home run with this new system. I’m in range more with 780G than I was with my TSlim X2

I love my 780g. I was diagnosed when I was 15 years old. I’m 30 now and it’s made a word of difference for me and my blood sugars have been way more regulated

I am going from self control 44 yrs to 780G tomorrow here in Wales/UK been waiting 3 yrs NHS 'free' Wed 24th Jan 24?

OK, the only thing I don’t like is I’m old. I’m 70 and OK I’m also fat however sometimes when I put or have my sister put the insert in it bleeds which means oh there’s a wasted one get another do I report it no because it’s too much of an issuehowever I still believe in this system it works for me. Five dot nine as your A1c is like incredible and I have been like it’s the holidays. I eat too much obviously I can’t say enough good things about it. It works better than their other stuff.

I'm in range more but the addition insulin has meant extra lbs for me

My sister is going on the eighth to have this one hooked up. She is so excited she is upgrading from the freestyle Libre, which actually was terrible for her. Would go so low at night time and wake up in a full sweat feeling like close to death really scary

I had always been with Medtronic however the calibration every hour became a problem so I switched to Dexcom and Tandem. While they are a good combination I miss my Medtronic and will be switch back in May 2025 when my warranty expires with Tandem

I can't even tell you the last time I did a fingerprick. I always use my four arms or the fatty part of my palms
