Factories astonish me. How humans were able to design and produce these automated machines with such precision just baffles me. Major kudos to the scientists, engineers, and everyone else involved!

I swear now that I’m 22 almost have my AAS in manufacturing and working towards my BSME in Mechanical Engineering I swear this show is what got me into this whole machinist scene, crazy how I was a kid watching this to now making modern ceramic medical components.

America needs all the independent manufacturing it can get.

These machines are amazing. So complex. And to think someone or some people had to figure the way the whole process would work out, and then BUILD the machines that would do it, including casts for all the parts of the machine, of which there are thousands of moving parts!

I'll tell you what amazes me about high volume mass production, is how factories find markets to sell their products by the millions. It just doesn't seem possible there could be enough people out there to buy them all

I am a construction engineer specializing in mechanical engineering. Every time I install these instruments, I need to check their positions very carefully, because the slightest difference is a thousand miles away.

So basically the cement in the knife is a cheap way of making the knife feel heavy without using real metal.

I honestly just thought that they melted steel and then they casted a ton of them at the same time but apparently not
