Finland and Sweden have officially applied to join the NATO military alliance. Ambassadors from the two Nordic nations went to NATO headquarters in Brussels on Wednesday morning to officially apply. It's a move prompted by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Finland shares a border with Russia which is more than 1 300 kilometres long. Together with neighbouring Sweden, both countries have been reconsidering their security and defense policies. SABC News Correspondent Rosie Birchard brings us the latest from Brussels.
