In one sense the security situation is hardly changed. Russia daily tests the security of Finnish and Swedish coastal waters, not just with submarines but with air patrols. Finland and Sweden respond, complain to the Russian Embassies in each country, and move to the next situation that pops up. Finland and Sweden also practice with NATO in military maneuvers and war games. So, little will change on a daily basis except that if Finland and Sweden then the crap will hit the fan. I don't imagine that Russia will perform as many air incursions but the subs are hard enough to find as it is. Just ask Norway. Life is getting more difficult. The US is going to have even more problems because if women are forbidden to have abortions then women can surely NOT serve nor be drafted into the military. Recent overheard quote from Charles Barkley - when asked why a man does not have to buy a watch as a gift for a woman, he replied, "Because the stove already has a clock."
