For the past couple of years, the discussion has been "What will win in a drag race, a Ford Raptor R or Ram TRX?" And there are plenty of videos showing that the results are very close! Well now PaxPower has finally put that question to bed and created the quickest off-road performance truck on the market!
These trucks started as 2023 Ford F-150s and were converted as close as possible to Gen 3 Raptor spec using all OEM Ford Raptor parts on body and suspension. These trucks weigh considerably less than either a Ford Raptor or Ram TRX and consequently are much faster! PaxPower anticipates a 3.5 second 0-60 time!
Additionally, these should be the most capable full-size trucks on the market, considering their wheelbase is almost 3 feet shorter than Ram TRX or Ford Raptor. Their wheelbase is within a few inches of the Ford Bronco Raptor or Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, two of the most capable off-road vehicles available.
The engine is a 5.0L V8 that is upgraded with a 3.0L Whipple Supercharger kit producing 775 horsepower. Additionally, a Borla S-Type dual exhaust is added for performance and sound.
The bumpers are upgraded to Addictive Desert Design Bomber spec with Rigid Lighting. Wheels are Method Race Wheels and tires are 37" BFGoodrich K02 All-Terrain spec.
PaxPower plans on building a shop version of this truck based on a 2024 Ford F-150 and will make is appear just like the updated 2024 Ford Raptor and 2024 Ford Raptor R.
