Lifesaving trick: do NOT use wormhole Fulton device, it extract to quickly so that the 2nd truck won't stop for long enough.

Literally my first attempt:

"Objective complete, exfiltrate hot zone"
"This is pequod, we can't land!"
Took like a minute for the sandstorm to clear.. luckily I still got S rank though lol.

number one pro tip for this mission do not use the wormhole extraction as the second tank will never stop, the wormhole is fast than the balloons and messes it all up, take it from someone who did this mission for an hour before realizing that the wormhole was just like half a second to fast ^_^ switched to balloons and got it first try

TIPS: it looks like those tanks now don't want to stop moving. Go near the location in this video but call the evac heli near the road. Tanks will be forced to attack it. Now they are not moving and you can extract the last tank and the truck by jumping from the cliff. I didn't manage to grab the first tank, the heli killed it, I think. Then you can quit with this heli, that way you got the S. I just did it that way.

For those having trouble, politely kidnap a willing volunteer from the outpost you pass from the beginning and toss him in the middle of the road. When the convoy rolls through they'll stop to check on him then fulton the vehicles

This saved me so much time! I kept thinking I had to play through the mission the regular way and capture the Sakhra Village. Whew!!!

2020 method: It works but needs a slight tweak. I could fulton the first tank but the truck would just take off and run me over everytime. What I did was lay in ambush next to the helicopter pick up zone. Call in Pequod obviously as a decoy. Tanks will focus fire on Pequod and driver of the truck will stop and hop out. Fulton the first tank, run around the rocks, then fulton the last tank. Around this time your heli will get shot down. Run up to the last dude, CQC him and extract. Done. I had to retry 5 times but still got the S rank.

Do NOT! do that with wormhole fultons, i repeat, do NOT use wormhole! It will make it much more complicated.

Tried it this way 5-6 times and couldn't get the caravan to stop long enough to extract the truck. Then I equipped my chopper with rockets, called it in earlier, and the truck stopped and the two guys got out to shoot at the chopper. The tanks were also distracted and didn't even spot me.

This will work if you use the wormhole Fulton. Just get one of the guards at the outpost and haul him over to where the convoy runs. They’ll stop for him and you can extract the rear tank and truck first but will need to get the first tank to stop by running out in front of it and getting a red alert

I called in the helicopter first as mentioned in the video, the waited till helicopter arrived, then waited till the three tanks saw the helicopter and wormholed the last tank then the middle then the tank at the front. 6.19 S rank.
