Easy Homemade Cherry Pie Recipe

There’s nothing like fresh homemade cherry pie bubbling under a rich, flaky lattice crust! Learn how to make the best cherry pie using fresh or frozen cherries.

Cherry Pie Ingredients:
►6 cups cherries, pitted (2 1/4 lbs)
►1 Tbsp lemon juice
►3/4 cup sugar (use 1 cup for sour cherry pie)
►5 Tbsp corn starch
►1/2 tsp cinnamon
►1 Tbsp butter, diced, to dot the top

Egg Wash:
►1 egg
►1 Tbsp milk (or water)
►1 Tbsp coarse sugar

I just made this recipe today and it is DELICIOUS! I've only ever seen people use canned cherries in pie recipes (which to me is gross) so I have been turned off by the idea of cherry pie in the past. But this recipe has totally change my mind. I don't own a pie dish so I used a square baking dish and it still came out wonderful. The crust recipe was excellent. I've been looking for a good crust recipe for a while, but to no avail. I will only be using Natasha's crust recipe from now on. Thank you!
