They clearly have genuine affection for each other. They are silly together, enjoy great conversations, like to do a lot of the same things (she has said they are similar in many ways) and he goes to her for advice. They obviously know each other well. How could they not? They've spent massive amounts of time together over the last almost 8 years. 

But the vibe has changed now that she is married. In the earlier years they were definitely flirtatious and their body language was close. They may have never dated, but the chemistry was undeniable. Now they are playful, which is appropriate. But I have to admit I do kinda miss the old flirty-ness. Even so, it was really good to finally seem them together for a stretch. They are so adorable!

Wow, they've been together for nearly a decade. Being a TV husband & wife for so long in a show like Outlander must really create a unique sort of intimate friendship between two people. Now that they are producers on the show, it really seems like Outlander is kind of like their baby. Its what they will leave behind for posterity.

I loved when Sam admitted that he goes to Caitriona for advice. He knows she has a lot of common sense and that she cares about him. They have greatly enriched each other's lives, and it is lovely to see them be so stinkin' cute. We all marvel at their chemistry, but I think they actually INVENTED the concept.

Outlander is one of the greatest love stories that I've ever read/watch a series about. The 2 actors have genuine chemistry with each other that it blows my mind they are simply acting and aren't dacting each other. When you watch the show you fee like you're watching a reality tv of 2 lovers
