Sam has said on a few occasions that he is more on introverted side. As an introvert myself, if someone I trust, would do most of the talking on my behalf, I’d be happy with that. He does put he’s opinion in. As long time friends, you do get a feel of the other person, and perhaps Caitriona knows what he is comfortable with and when he isn’t.
Wonderful panel, thank you! So fun!

Absolutely fun to watch this. Joyous in fact. The dissing of Caitriona is sad just sad. So many people must be in love with Sam/Jamie and they seem to need to disparage the other half of why this show is so successful. When Caitriona calls Sam a 'ridiculous' man she is implying he is fun and silly and crazy all in a good way. They basically have a great time working together.

This is the best “interview” I’ve ever seen of these actors/producers! This actor/producer-led format is amazing. There’s no awkwardness from stranger interviewers, and the actors/producers are so much more relaxed and in their element. There’s so much new information here than in any other interview, very interesting stuff that they haven’t shared anywhere else. I wish it was longer! I could have watched hours more.

I can’t believe that when this video came out that I hadn’t watched one episode of Outlander... and now I’m completely obsessed! 💗🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🙌🏻🔥

I'm glad the showrunners caught that burning cross taboo. Cause when I watched the first episode, I immediately felt a little weird when they talked about clans burning crosses because it has been appropriated by hate groups, just like the colonial flag. It was a smart touch adding the Celtic element to it to avoid any backlash!

What makes the character Claire so incredibly resourceful is her interest and knowledge of botany. I don't know of any medical doctors I know today, and likely even fewer from the 1960's, who would be able to make their own equipment and pharmaceuticals. She is distinctly able in the 1700's, in addition to her healing knowledge.

I think every book I read, forevermore, will feature Sam Heughan as the embodiment of its heartthrob. One of the most talented actors this earth has been graced with. And I'm bookish, with zero interest in pop culture -- it took Heughan to hook and drag me {joyfully} into the camp that books can be enhanced through artful acting. Heughan is also the sole reason this non-cable-tv watcher is currently paying for a Starz subscription... there's some kind of magic in that man.

Who else is watching this again after finishing season 5?

Sam and Caitriona do an amazing job bringing these characters to life. Perfect match!!! Tobias played the best of both Frank and "Black Jack" Randall. I can't say enough about the entire cast I look forward to watching every night, as well as behind the scenes with awesome production and costume design. I recommend Outlander to everyone who asks me for a recommendation, since we are homebound lately. I am in Love with all of you and hoping Diana Gabaldon keeps on

Everyone seems so critical, do you have any idea how many times they’ve answered these same questions or how exhausting it is to do these tours? Give them a break!

I agree so much with the female and make pleasure thing. It is so amazing to see them do this. Cait is so very smart and well spoken. One of the reasons why I love the show is that they are so progressive with many normally sensitive things. They do such justice to Diana's books. All the characters are not necessarily what I had envisioned, but how could they be...everyone's mind is so vastly different. They however do such an amazing job with the character development and acting that it overshadows any other idea of them from the books. Well done all on the show and thank you for bringing such great drama to television. It has seriously helped me work through so many emotions and trauma that I have experienced in my life, that is what avgood drama does.

The passionate scenes are done beautifully... that’s what I love about this show. They tell the story without overdoing.

Good lord people....they have jabbed at each other from day one. They actually ALL jab at each other in all of their interviews. Also if you notice, they have the ladies sitting on a couch with the men separated on chairs, kind of hard to show any friendly intimacy in this setting. But their body language definitely gives off a certain level of comfort and ease with each other. I don't believe that she is jealous of anything and they both will have career opportunities coming to them in the future. I also want to say (in my humble opinion) that I think Sophie and Roger have both really grown into their characters very well! Sophie played Brianna as a spoiled, entitled young girl in the beginning, so well that you actually believed it, and is progressing her character into a strong resilient (Frasier, lol) woman. So easy to dish out criticism instead of focusing on the incredible challenge it must be to bring the depth of Diana Gabaldon's characters to the screen. You can clearly see the closeness and respect they have for each other in all of their interviews. They all seem to be very much at ease with each other, and both Sam and Cait, clearly love and respect Sophie. Maybe we should follow their example and just sit back and enjoy all their hard work to be able to bring such an epic story to life! Big fan of all four! ❤❤❤

This was good for hearing from all the actors but geeez! really felt for Sam here, he's such a gentleman

I can’t help but wonder how Caitriona would feel if Sam said he doesn’t think of her as Claire but instead a more womanly woman. I bet the shoe wouldn’t fit so well. Sam’s outstanding!

Now I Understand why they changed the simple cross in the books to the celtic one in the series. As an European I did not think about the the negative conotation this simple burning cross has in America. At first I was a bit upset, again a change from the books, but now I agree.

Love all of them truly. I find though that Cait takes so much space in a lot of interviews. She is obviously very at ease, speaks eloquently and with great intelligence, but I often wish she would let the others speak more, especially Sam in this particular interview.
