Heya everyone this is Dion Koster from Team Reptile, game director of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. I hope you are all doing well, I wanted to add a supplement to the new teaser we dropped. First off a shout out to Bx'treme who made the track AGUA we used. I got to admit I didn't know where the samples were from but it sure sounded dope. Google 'Agua' for a quick surprise.

As you know BRC is a game about the street. Wherever you are from, chances are you grew up going out to the local skatepark, scratching your name on the bins at school or hanging out at the mall, dancing, before heading back home to do some extreme tricks in your favorite video game. Maybe it got you to the point that you are now hitting up the big spots in your own way! Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a big street culture symphony of these feelings. In that spirit I have decided to include skateboarding, BMX and inline skating in the game.

With this teaser we are giving you a heads up, the way that you move around is important. Style is not only about appearance. Many secrets can be found by getting points and doing combos throughout the stage. You will be outstyling the other crews after you bombed their turf to take what's theirs. Skateboarding, inline and BMX are represented with real life tricks to play into this. After going off you'll be able to switch back to regular ol' feet anytime you want to get down to the beat.

For everyone saying, "this sure looks like Jet Set Radio?" You are 100% correct, since this is a spiritual successor to Jet Grind Radio/Jet Set Radio/Jet Set Radio Future since Sega, or *WHOEVER* owns the IP of Jet Set Radio, has failed to do anything with it over the last 19 years. So Team Reptile stood up, rolled their sleeves up, cracked their knuckles and said "If Sega won't make a new Jet Set Radio, then we'll do it ourselves!" To say I'm *MAD HYPE* for this game would be an understatement!

Now THIS is how you handle a proper spiritual successor, a ton of games who advertise themselves as such often end up missing what made the OG good. This feels like they know what they're doing

I love how it doesn't have to revole around just role blades, but bikes and skateboards too. I also love how some parts of area remind me Shibuya and Dogenzaka Hill.

As a hip hop dancer, I want to thank team reptile for taking Bx'treme's track Agua, hes a Legend in the scene and hearing his song in a videogame is just amazing!

THIS LOOKS SO GOOD! It feels like a mix of Jet Set Radio and Tony Hawk in the coolest way imaginable. Also love the track in the trailer! I'm getting SO hyped for this game!

I believe in Indie Game Dev Supremacy! They actually listen to the community, they don't force NFTs down our throats no matter how much we say we don't want em and they actually care about their product. I'm actually looking forward to this one.

I know the whole Reptile team is working hard to get the game out this year BUT if you guys need to push it to a little into next year then go for it....Like honestly I want this game NOW but I know if you guys need that extra time to add or polish then take it. Keep it up TR!

Team Reptile has singlehandedly captured the feel of Jet Set Radio in such a way that the game feels like a true successor to the series. I am super hyped for this.
