Some fun and (somewhat obscure facts about Canada and Canadian culture). Even a couple Canadians might be surprised at a few of these babies. For people who have never traveled here, the first thing that surprises them is how many Canadians live in large urban cities. This is a shift from the 17th-19th century when Canada was largely rural...GOOD DAY, EH!

I believe you are correct. The point was that "Chinook Winds" coming over the Rocky Mountains from the Pacific Ocean have a particular effect of rapidly raising temperatures in southern Alberta, sometimes freakishly so in the fall and winter. But your point is well taken.

Great video for higher levels. Creative teachers could make good use of this video by making a quiz for students to complete after watching.

Correction; 'Chinook' winds affect the weather 10-12 hours north of Calgary and even more so south of Calgary. All the  prairie provinces have 'chinook' affect weather in the winter.

Slight error in converting C to F. 10 degrees Celsius is approx 18 degrees Fahrenheit. As freezing is 32 Fahrenheit, and zero Celsius, then when it is 10 degrees Celsius, it is 52 degrees Fahrenheit (though admittedly, the math is still off even considering the situation of calculation)

YES! You could come to the "True North Strong and Free: CANADA!" Why not?? If you can make it to the West Coast and Vancouver, I will personally take you out for dinner! LOL
