i have 20 over repos and 1000s of commits, and yet I still watch this 1 minute tutorial! best content on YT

I really like the VSC git ui.
Just 1 thing I would suggest is to make the commit tick mark a bit more obvious as it is more commonly used and right now, it is kinda mixed with other options.
Maybe like the blue push button, it could show the commit button on top of all the committed files?

Do you still need this if you have already downloaded and installed github and linked it to VS Code?

Not sure why this isn’t mentioned but it’s way easier after typing the commit message to press Ctrl+Enter to commit

You can just create the repository from vscode itself tho
