As a software engineering graduate with basically no hardware/electronics knowledge I started watching this series for a dream job application requirement. I learned more about electronics during this video series than 4 years of Technical high school (electronics department). Thanks a lot man, if I somehow get the job I would like to make a hefty donation to your channel, you're amazing.

I started watching your videos 1, 5 years ago and Dident know what education I wanted to get. Im now on my second semester with my engineering electronics degree and I’m loving it. Much love to you brother

The first piece advice alone was absolute gold!! I've bought a bunch of stuff, felt overwhelmed and gave up a hobby so often, before. Having stuff "waiting on you" can be stressful. This time I'll hold back and watch a bunch of your vids first, thanks.

a good teacher is one who makes a complicated lesson easy to understand. You are one and my highest respect goes to you from a teacher of more than 50 years in Singapore. Andrew tung

Im growing more and more interested in electronics, I recently successfully made a taser from scratch for the hell of it and I find this series extremely helpful for learning more about the functionality behind components

This chap for me is brilliant and he draws me in to keep watching and hopefully learning. Just imagine music playing in the background as so many do, I wouldn’t be interested. Thanks ever so much for making electronics so interesting.

Thanks for creating this series. As someone with zero experience, I think it's going to be a great way to explore my nacent interest in electronics as a hobby.

Just stumbled across your videos. I tried going to college for hardware engineering from 02-03 but the classes quickly became overwhelming for me. The curriculum felt so accelerated that it wasn't long before I fell too far behind and ended up quitting. But the subject has always interested me. I'm now hoping to start a side hustle of repairing and flipping consoles. Looking forward to learning from you. -Amy

My 12 year old is homeschooled. He wants to be an electrician. The cool thing about homeschool is that kids can explore their interests. We will be taking this course together as part of his curriculum. I'm so excited! I'm sure we will find some fun projects along the way.

Thank you so much sincerely.
I don't know whether you may reply me or may not but yea.

I'm studying in Electrical Engineering right now and I have studied based on academy bases (for seeking grads without deeply understanding how all the electric components actually/properly works). Right now I'm doing personal projects and it turns out I didn't learn anything/I forgot everything what I have learnt so far in University even though I have a good GPA. When I try to build something by my own, I didn't know any knowledge how i should draw the schematic or how I should design the circuit or how I should use each electrical component with its specification. Your video is giving me excellent understanding for all.

Thank you so much again for these videos. Your videos are the one I have been seeking for a while.
your videos are really practical that we can use it in real life unlike learning only all kinds of theories from University.
Please continue for this and if you have time even intermediate and even farther advance electronics.
I can't wait to see your next updates.
please please keep it up!

Thanks! I'm a 15 year old developer who only has knowledge from the software approach to hardware. So only low level stuff and I just found out that I have no clue about anything electrical. So, thank you.

Just starting~!

Little project of mine, I yet to say of where it goes, but this is a cool thing I've always wanted to check out!

Great series! I’ve been trying to learn coding through a handful of “Any level! From total novice…” kits, videos, and books, but they apparently don’t want to dumb it down TOO much. These vids are giving me a much better starting place.
