Ignoring US Demands, Gulf States Deepen Ties with China and Russia

The Gulf states have been reliable partners of U.S. imperialism since their inception. But that hasn’t stopped them from deepening their ties with Russia and China, leading to tectonic shifts across the Middle East that have many DC insiders losing sleep. What’s behind these shifting alliances across the Gulf? Will they continue to oppose the new Cold War? Or are they too wedded to the U.S. to truly forge paths independent of it? How much wiggle room does multipolarity really afford them?

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter said the United States has been at peace for only 16 of its 242 years as a nation, calling the country "the most warlike nation in the history of the world." From directly launching wars, backing proxy wars, stirring up inter-state hostilities to engineering "color revolutions, " the United States has been involved in most of the major warfares or military conflicts since WWII.

These wars and conflicts have devastated the invaded countries, killed millions of civilians, and displaced tens of millions.William Jones, Washington bureau chief of the U.S. publication Executive Intelligence Review, has said that Russia's main concern about NATO eastward expansion has never been heeded by the United States, "which is only interested in maintaining its hegemonic status in Europe, and which has been steadily retreating from that collaborative policy which the West committed itself to after the Cold War."

There is a refusal by the west to admit that the Saudis and others are throwing their hats with BRICS because for too long they have been oppressed by the west and treated as inferior but necessary allies. Western pundits try to attribute the reasons for their shift down to purely economic reasons. BRICS offers equality and respect.

ARAB states all need ..PEACE. Decades of WARS and INVASION caused by Western nations have brought MUCH sufferings and Stagnation to all the ARAB States. With PEACE Rebuilding .... GROWTH ... TRADING .... PROPERITY . All humans in ARAB nations deserved PEACE and GROWTH.
