It's now 2025 and this song has more meaning than ever. I was a child of the 60s and remember when people had respect and dignity regardless of class. As a child of the 60s and a teen of the 70s I honestly believe I had the best era to grow up in. Very few possessions and appreciated what we had.
Bring back the good times.

Anyone who didn't grow up in the 60s whether before or after can never know the feeling of the new music, culture, and happiness and hope for a future that never arrived as we now know but it was a kind of innocent heaven when I look back all I see is Sun, colour and happiness and it's all like a dream and totally devoid of reality but can anyone who missed that magic decade understand how lucky we were to have that magic ingrained on our memory now in old age, it was totally transforming and in some strange way magical. 😢

Britain is not the safe and peacful country I grew up in. But when I listen to all these great songs from the sixties, it makes me very happy !

I so so long to go back to the good old days and they were truly the good old days.
Children could go out to play in safety, people could leave their front door open,
their were no four letter words spoken on the t v, or nudity, and people felt safe in
their homes without the fear of being burgled.Those days are sadly gone FOREVER.
