So I bought the 5w D1 pro since I’m new to laser engraving and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of projects on creative space. Any tips on what I need to cut with the 5w laser and what settings for engraving ?

Nice explanation. I am new to the laser world, on day 3, so how do I "tell my xTool P2" to score first, then engrave, then cut using the layers?

How can I edit the image? On the old software I could erase objects, not I can’t find where to erase were I am outlining

So a trick you can do to get multiple elements out of a bitmap is you can actually crop out the individual elements in a bitmap editor and import them as individual files into XCS. Kind of a pain to have to break it up yourself but it is doable.

you didn't explain how you make it go to the part you want done and keep it all in the correct spot, I picked a part I want done and it went to a different part of the board to mark it and it wasn't in the original spot of the artwork
