I never wanted kids. The day my daughter was born immediately, besides the overwhelming love I had never felt before, I also felt an insatiable urge to teach her everything on the planet. (I know it’s not possible) But one of the many things I would love for her to see is this lost civilization that by many accounts have done things that even the most evolved humans cannot decipher. The disappointment I feel for not being able to monetarily support a trip to Egypt is equal to my dismay that she will never see these magnificent specimens of a by-gone culture that managed to build these massive unexplained structures. Maybe I’m the only parent like this but the plan was to give my child more than I had. And when I was a boy the pyramids were one of the most intriguing aspects of life on earth.

These are actual Egyptian tombs. I want to know what the pyramids were designed to do.

Are the paintings original or reconstructed as i would have thought the colours would fade like on sphinx

I've been there. What they don't show because they don't allow cameras recording devices are the actual bodies that are still in the tombs...that's what you see, a grave site.

Inside the grave, many of the tombs still have the mummified bodies wrapped in their wrappings.

It's not creepy. You can get close enough to almost touch some of them.

Egypt is a country one should visit.

Especially if you're an American, or Westerner, I guess. You've heard of "third world?" Egypt is poorer than third world. It's like being on another planet, then you travel a short distance into the desert and see the most amazing sites, like The Valley of the Kings (dozens of tombs like that one...more than you can visit) and the pyramids. ..oh jeezuz.

What happend to Egypt? They were so far ahead thousands of tears ago....now third world poverty is too successful to describe Egypt?

When Egypt was building these great buildings, painting their important people on walls, burying their dead with gold, silver, important artifacts etc, how were the people of Europe living/ being buried! Were they as advanced as Egypt etc?
