Should Elora get the Tawna treatment in Spyro 4?

Change her looks and personality? Hell no. Give her a bigger role in future games? Absolutely.

She should definitely have a larger role in the next game, maybe even become a playable character

I think Elora has way more potential than Tawna in this regard.
Before CTRNF Tawna didn't really have the most elaborate or interesting character, in fact they went the alternate universe route to make her playable, while Elora has much more stuff to work with.
Plus I wanna see her playable, no matter how unlikely that is, lemme gallop around with those hooves.

I definitely agree with ya! Not only does she need more screen time in general, because in terms of game appearances she's under-utilized there as well, but when she is seen, I'd like to see her doing something cool, something more than just telling Spyro where he can go or how many collectibles he needs to gain access into a certain place. The leadership aspect should certainly become Elora's main role, and from there I can see her doing some really awesome stuff, especially if she ever becomes playable!

I'd love to see Elora appear in the next Spyro game, and making her into a more fleshed out character would be a good thing. That being said, however, I would prefer for her design to stay the same. Her design wouldn't change, but she would be written in a way that makes her into a much stronger character.

Absolutely.

In fact, I was hoping she AND Bianca would become playable characters in future Spyro games after Year of the Dragon.

Sadly, that never happened. But with the new Reignited continuity, it might happen now. And Crash 4 is the model for that kind of alt-universe continuation.

I hope they keep Elora's personality and character design intact but also give her a more active role. Expand more on what she can do as the Guidebook implies she has some magical ability. And she has the ability to train Pterodactyls. Maybe she could have a throwing spear and a small Pterodactyl pet to give her a sort of Ranger role, and also to tie in with her Faun mythology - as they were much that archetype, as well as symbols of nature and fertility. Even her Guide role is something Fauns did in myth, guiding lost humans back to civilization. It could be Elora was motivated to be more useful to Spyro than merely being a Guide, so she wanted to find her own way to be proactive by his side.

Would be AWESOME for Elora if she became play able in Spyro’s new games

Plus Elora should have her POP! Figure shirts and merchandises

Wow I didn't think on this.
Well, with Tawna, she was just the "pretty face" in the Crash game until IAT where she earned a backstory, redesing and a great as(s)pect.
With Elora, well we know her better in one game and have a good understandment of her character, but I think that a change similar to Tawna would work on her, as we've seen her being more active and actually taking initiative. So maybe a cooler and rude version of her could be good, of course if they want to stick with the same Elora from the games and not from a parallel universe they should develop her really good.
Also, if Elora could, could Bianca too?
Great video! This actually sounds like an interesting factor for the Spyro games for a character in specific.

I wanna see more of elora, but she already is no damsel so I hope they don’t change the design.

Elora definitely needs something like this. Her character, while really well designed, is mainly in game with villain that doesn't really do anything else than being a jerk. Ripto has only two minions, meanwhile Gnasty and Sorceress basically creates them using some of gems we're collecting. Riptocs are only present in Enter the Dragonfly *spitting over left shoulder*, therefore enemies in Spyro 2 seems like part of internal problems of Avalar, not effects of Ripto's wrongdoing. That doesn't put her leadership in good light

Yes, I think Elora could have a more prominent role in the Spyro series without being completely redesigned and re-characterized.
P.S.: New Tawna is still my favorite version of that character. It's safe to say she is a different character, quite like, you know, Fake Crash and Evil Crash are not Crash Bandicoot...

For special matters I say Elora the Faun should come in a new Spyro game Spyro 4. Elora should definitely come back in future Spyro games and become iconic next to Hunter, Bianca, professor, Moneybags, and Ripto and Elora needs more love and appreciation. It's important that Elora is the first girl, heroine, and love interest to Spyro. Elora who kissed Spyro is canon. Best of all Elora should also be a playable character next to Spyro and show the world what she can really do and have her chance to shine.

Okay, after watching the video, I agree. I just want her to have a bigger role.

Personally prefer Bianca, since she had a better established character and development and has been in more games than any other Spyro female (including Cinder, who does play a bigger role, but still) she was even referenced by Hunter in Nitro Fueled, but Elora having ore of a developed role wouldn't be a bad thing.

0:20 Oh, don't you go there with the "Certain Reasons" part. XD LOL!

1:43 But we all love Krystal from Star Fox! She's the type of Character that we love for "Certain Reasons" [cough] ^^;

Joking aside, I agree. But I kinda like Bianca more than Elora and want to see her get the Tawna treatment maybe.

Yeah, I don't see why Elora shouldn't be more involved. I'd love to see her back in a new game, honestly. As for "Alt Tawna, " I gotta be honest, I have no issue with giving her more character, but I feel the direction they took, or at least the design they went with, felt a or at least "too far in the other direction." Like, when I first saw her, I chuckled and went "gee, I wonder who they're trying to appeal to?" obvious design choice on their part. Kinda makes me think of Candy Kong in the DKC show (though with more Rule34 bait). But anyways, yeah, I'd love to see Elora back and her having a bigger role would be pretty cool.

So more of a "Sally Acorn" type of treatment?
