I have one tip you should add to this list. Play clock management. Go into your settings in the game, put it on conservative and you'll come out of the huddle with 10 seconds left. It's great when you are strictly running clock, and want the fastest way to end the game!

Zigs are definitely cooking. Especially if you pick the play that has a zig already routed then route a zig on the guy next to him with a slant on the other side super unstoppable.
