Get a jolt of awakening with Doug Hall's “The Terrible Uncertainty of The Thing Described,” presented by the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art at SFAI until June 6, 2015.
The large scale, three-channel video installation, with sound, electronics, steel, and a Tesla coil, was first shown in 1987. It's being revived after nearly 25 years of paranoia and urban legend over its powerful electrical charge.
