I'd very much recommend that anyone who wants to try this also watch some of the hard candy videos from Hercules Candy and Lofty Pursuits. You can really hurt yourself and more information is definitely better in this case. This video is a great adaptation for small batches, but seeing professional candy makers handle molten sugar will put this into a better perspective, safety wise. Ann makes things look so easy. I'm always so impressed. And I love the handy tips that I can actually use. Great video!
