Greetings from Columbus Ohio in the US. I play 8 Ball, 9 Ball and Straight Pool Billiards just about everyday. I do however always find myself tuning into your videos every time a new one pops up. Even though our sports are a wee bit different I have learned many things from your training tips, positional play and spin on the cue videos. Keep it up good Sir. You are truly a marvel on the snooker table.

My Saturday mornings start with your channel. Thankyou for your tutorial on bridge distances. I was playing last night and prefer the 10 or 11 inch range. My opponent was lengthy at 15 to 18 inches. His accuracy on long pots was questionable. Your explanations prove true.

The great Cliff Thorburn used to play with a very short back swing and very close to the cue ball, He had a very good technique but not easy to master, Cliff was a fabulous player 😊

I've been playing for around 18 months now and your content has helped me massively.

This is one of the most important things I have been thinking about for my cuing. Spot on video. I struggle if I come back to the V because my cuing isn’t straight. But if I don’t pull back enough I don’t get the smoothness. Around the black spot I dont pull back too far and I’m more accurate.

Excellent for you to cover this. Check out how selby plays a lot of shots with the cue on the cushion between his 3 forst fingers even though he has space to put his hand onthe table. He does it a lot even though theres is a lot of space. Check it out he is so good at playing those shots.

I always find I hit the ball better with a shorter bridge. Used to try having a further bridge like John Higgins as it looks nice when you do your feathers. Excellent tutorial video, cheers from Selangor, Malaysia

Greetings from Pensacola, Florida the 🌞 sunshine State.
Great tips and video. Was planning on practicing all day and this video popped up as I was sipping on my morning wake up ☕️ coffee!
Going to try getting up a little closer and see if it improves my shots. It all makes perfect sense so- thank you for all of the great tips!
Cheers-💋

I have been trying to pull back cue more after watching Ronnie. He pulls back cue right to V and pushes right through dropping shoulder. Many of Asian players don’t pull back cue far. Judd doesn’t either but get surprising power.
