Montante in Action - public demonstration

A compilation of the exhibitions we did during our day at Glimmingehus, a 16th century manor in Scania, Sweden. Watch as we demonstrate the greatsword in action by guarding a lady, whirling around and generally terrorizing our poor helpers. Also, look for how many times the rapiers become bent!

It has even more reach than I thought. The speed of those cuts could take off limbs easily. Though I'd wager the defense tactic is meant to buy time for help to arrive rather than actually kill the attackers.
