Amazon Dupes Culture Is INSANE

I feel like every other day is Amazon Prime day and honetly, I’m done with it. Especially when I see how it promotes the duping culture, I can’t help but rolling my eyes.

What would seem unfair for the luxury wearer is when a beautiful, fit and decent woman weares these dupes and still look more luxurious than the woman who wears luxry brands from head to foot. 😅😅

Strangely so, the largest reseller company in my country has a rule against selling dupes, BUT if a dupe producing company buys adds and advertises their website that is perfectly allowed.
As for the subject itself, dupes or not, most of these things come from sweatshops where people are underpaid and overworked. Amazon has become THE place for dropshipping, a while ago some catowners found out the hard way that Amazon was selling auto-clean cat litter boxes that were not approved and that killed their cats. It's sad how Amazon has stooped so low, not caring what is being sold on their website anymore, most products can also be found on Aliexpress for cheaper, which is pretty much known for dupes etc.

Re replicas, on a technical level you're wrong. The way replicas work is that in China it's hard to get any paperwork through as a foreigner, so Chinese people have bought the copyright and trademarks of various Western companies by themselves, so making stuff with those names is legal within that country. The people making it actually own the right to do that, in China. When exported, it may be mistaken with the Western brands of the same name, but it isn't. They just share the same name and since IP is national, it's a point of confusion the law needs to tackle.

I already see dupes even for brands that aren't particularly expensive, certainly not like Chanel or Hermès. Dupes for Tory Burch, Coach, Polène, and more

Brands dupe each other too. Look at the Badgley Muschka bags. All Chanel dupes.
