Dear sir do not put salt in the pit. The copper plate will corrode.you can expect nothing in the pit after a few months.not only the copper plate but also the GI pipe.

Earthing ఇది proper గా లేదు.
1.earthing కు pit (గుంత) వెడల్పు కనీసం 0.500 మీటర్స్ ఉండాలి.
2. ఎర్త్ పైప్ appr.4 నుండి 6 ఫీట్స్ ఉండాలి.
3. ఎర్త్ ప్లెట్ తో పాటు కొంచెం కాపర్ వైర్ ఎర్త్ ప్లేట్ కు చుట్టి భూమిలో కి పాతలి. ఎందుకంటే GI పైపు కొన్ని రోజులకు rust పత్తి దానికి ఉన్న copper ప్లేట్ ఉడిపోతుంది.
కావున పైప్ కు చుడుతూ భూమిలో కి వెళ్ళేవిదంగా చుట్టాలి.
4. భూమి లోపలి నుండి వచ్చే కాపర్ వైర్ మరియు ఇంట్లోకి కి వెళ్లు ఎర్త్ వైర్ ని ప్రాపర్ గా జాయింట్ చేయటానికి GI పైపు పైన nut బోల్ట్ use చేయాలి.కానీ ఇక్కడ స్క్రూ తో పిట్ చేశారు.
5. Use చేయాల్సినవి.

ఎంత ఎక్కువ గా సాల్ట్, బొగ్గు వేస్తామో అంత ఎక్కువ గా ఎర్త్ లైఫ్ ఉంటుంది. వాటర్ పోయాటానికి ఈ విదంగా పైప్ use చేయొచ్చు.

good but had it been more effective if wire would have been bolted directly with the copper strip rather than with the aluminium strip.

MY UNDERSTANDING IS THAT THE GROUNDING ROD SHOULD BE AT LEAST 2 METERS LONG FOR GOOD EARTHING, & 1 FEET EACH OF ALTERNATE LAYERS OF SAND, COAL & SALT TO THE TOP & PROPERLY SANDED ON TOP. THE PIT SHOULD BE DUG AT LEAST A METER FRONT THE HOUSE.

Good job. Suggesting to speak on each step. Use yellow/Green cable for Earthing. Also use terminal clip/lugs for termination

In this case which rule is applied I don't know, but I am sure it is not at per IE rules.
Copper & G.I both are different metal but making joint each other, what will be the reaction that was not described. Also the value of earth resistance was not mentioned. Only shows the glowing lamp, how the values of earth resistance measures, by which instruments not mentioned, value of earth resistance is important factor.

Good effort but is it as per Is: 3043. It would have been better to explain the dimensions of excavated pit, size of pipes, thier grade, qty of salt, charcoal, What is earth resistance, what device used to measure it ? Kindly clarify, thanks. Regards. Jai Hind
