Let's talk about making your emails catch the attention of contracting officers and teaming partners. Here's a recent client story that sheds light on the matter. 🤔📥

My client asked for guidance on getting their emails noticed and eliciting responses. When I received their email, it felt like a short story! 📚 I had to share a vital piece of advice: trim it down! To improve your chances, keep it short, concise, and focused on one or two main points. ✂️💡

Contracting officers have limited time, so make your email reader-friendly. Avoid bombarding them with 18 questions and unnecessary information. 🚫📝 Show that you've done your homework and convey genuine interest. And remember, timing matters! Don't inquire about an RFP due tomorrow. Give yourself and the recipient ample time. 🗓️⏰

Craft your email to be impactful, concise, and well-timed. By following these tips, you'll increase the likelihood of being read and receiving responses from contracting officers and teaming partners. 📧🤝

I seem to remember a rule that emails should be kept down up 5 sentences. I try to do that.
