Corlys was willing to open up his heart to Jace and Luke, even allowing and preparing Luke to succeed them knowing Luke was a bastard. Yet his own biological sons he ostracized and barely acknowledged until he couldn’t ignore them anymore. This is why I lost a lot of respect for him.
