Alyn focuses only upon that which he knows he can control, his skills, his leadership, his excellence in work, what he earns and his commitment to duty !!

With utter contempt he refuses to count upon things that others control, such as favors, outside approval or being “liked”. This is what makes him the most powerful.

Alyn seems more mature becauss he was not as concerned as Addam. But remember this, They are full brothers, and if Addam is older, Addam had enough time to form memories and attachment to Corlys, unlike Alyn.

Only thing that annoys me is alyn is suppose to be younger than addam but in the show alayn looks older. Sure tiny detail but still even the tiny details can mean a lot in got lores.
