So helpful - thanks heaps!!!! 😊 I'm contemplating a Cricut to make miniature furniture - you've helped me immensely. I don't have the budget for a laser cutter. So many great tips too - you've inspired me.

I also thought I could skip laser cutting, haha! Thanks for the tip to get more intricate cuts. I'm hoping to make inch scale dollhouses so based on this video I think a good strategy will be to cut chipboard walls and floors, then wood slats for flooring, paneling, molding, and siding.

Thicketworks have a great tutorial for hardening chipboard and making it feel like wood

Very informative video 😍 and great content.
I bought a Cricut for my wife for the very same reason you mentioned, which is such an amazing coincidence 😍
All the best can't wait for more amazing vids 🙏

Think she meant 0.09449" = 3/32" which is equivalent to 2.4mm

Could you use the clear vinyl on both balsa and the basswood

This is what I want to do with my Silhouette Cameo 4. I realized it has limits. But I am not flush with cash so it helps to have someone do the research. Thank you!

Where do you purchase the contact sheet for the detail cuts? I’ve never used it, so I’m not familiar with what to look for exactly.

Hi, I just came across this video which you posted a year ago on Wood Cutting & Knife Blade. I have a couple questions I hope you may be able help me with. My first questions is which Cricut is better? The Cricut Maker or Cricut Maker 3. Second question how thick of Polystyrene Sheets sheets can a Cricut Maker cut?? Thank you for posting this most informative video. Awaiting your response. 🙂

Hi. Thanks for taking the time to help us newbies out. As a fellow Aussie, I was wondering where you purchase the Cricut basswood from, now that the USPS isn’t shipping to Australia? Is there a UK site? Thanks

I have the Cricut maker 3, do I need a Cricut maker 3 cutting blade or just the maker blade?

Hi I also purchased the Cricut to make wooden dollhouse miniatures and I purchased the cricut basswood and it would not cut all the way through. I did many passes and it didn't matter. How did you get it to cut through?

I watch your video because I have niece and nephew

Use chipboard then glue on veneer just like IKEA! And then you can skip painting. Cricut has some lovely veneers. For fancy things I think this would probably work and look very nice.
