The extreme snowball of this game is just a soul crusher. Feels like league has evolved into a fun parasite where one team can only have fun when the other is miserable.

Dunkey was the number one league content guy, he didn’t quit because he was hard stuck plat he quit because riot didn’t respect the guy who was bringing more eyes to their game than anyone, his channel was never about being some godly player, his personality was what carried him.

League has definitely been spiraling downward for awhile. It has lost it’s way and is focused on cultivating a toxic environment to keep players addicted. The fact you need to rely on your toxic flaming teammates to win the game (before you could still 4v5 and Potentially win if you had a hyper carry) makes the game no longer fun anymore.

Of all games I've played, league of legends has an uncomparibly negative environment surrounding it. I'd love to see you move onto games that have less negative energy behind them

I won’t lie I’ve been dealing with being addicted to league for years ignoring responsibilities, relationships outside of discord, always kinda hard focused on getting home after work and playing until I go to bed, my ability to spend time with actual friends, making sure my responsibilities are handled things of that nature etc, has gotten better over the years I guess the hardest thing now.. is I would love to jump into another game but nothing really keeps me interested long enough to decide to take a break from league for even more than a day. But yes I agree it’s hard climbing I’ve for sure gotten better but still kind of sad

It is smurfing. The main problem is Smurfing. Said it for years.
Dota 2 realized it 2 years ago, making it bannable when they could not get any new players anymore.

Riot all of a sudden announcing anti Smurf measures in the near futue tells you a lot about the state of the game. Riot was always greedy for the additional accounts.
Them coming out of the gaslighting now... well you can't compensate declining new player influx forever with selling Skins.

Dunkey was a gamer before LoL, he didn't find the game and love gaming, people quit when the game they experience is exhausting, and they go back to what they love. He didn't go let me master this game and all of its stats and ladders or nothing. Some people get stuck on games like that, sure they can break through and master it, but the guy just wanted to have fun doing other things.
