Her work on this show was so important to meeee. The show was much more dynamic and robust with Kat’s story told alongside the others. Will be missed but more glow awaits! We’ll always have season 1.

I think her season 2 storyline needed to be told. Not everyone gets a happy ever after, some people are just discontent forever. Hopefully someday towards the end of the show we get a cameo showing us where Kat ended up on her journey.

I felt like her explanation basically confirmed there were disagreements between her and Sam’s vision of the character and that’s why S2 played out the way it did and why she won’t be returning. I think it makes no sense to say her character had no where else to go because that’s just not true and other characters had very arcs in S2 that actually did go nowhere and they still will be in S3….

There’s more there but she doesn’t want to spill it and that’s fine. Not buying that all of this is just made up fantasy because she loved this character and there was many places it could have been taken in season 3. She was reduced for what seems like no reason, yet they wanted to give insight into much smaller characters like Lexi or even Fezcos grandma.

HBO should do another Girls type show, Barbie would be perfect for it.

She’s definitely covering up, but at the same time, saying a whole lot. Him not being able to relate to the character and doing what he did to Kat instead of bringing in a writer who could relate speaks volumes. Kat could’ve definitely continued on in this universe. He’s just being lazy and showing favoritism.

We all know the show wanted to take the ED route and because she’s a big girl they thought it would be fitting, she didn’t wanna be stuck as a one type role kinda actor and good for her. I just wish we get to see more of her in future roles I’d hate for her talent and beauty to fade because she doesn’t fit certain Hollywood archaic standards.

I think they didn't want her character to stand out or takeover like she would have if they had given her as much attention and substance as the other female characters. I think its because Sam is hornybeans and has a very superficial definition of beauty, but played around with the ideas of diversity and inclusivity just enough to have the support of the current generation and to not be questioned.

I’m sad to see her leave. I loved her character. I really enjoyed her acting. I disagree. I honestly think she could’ve taken her role further. Kat haves some more stories that can be written in the script.
