Natural killer (NK) cells play a major role in immune surveillance and in the early immune response to cancer and infections. Beneficial anti-tumor responses have been observed, illustrating the safety profile and clinical potential of this treatment. With an increasing availability of anti-cancer drugs, the role of NK cell-based approaches in novel combination therapies has rapidly escalated.

However, the NK cell manufacturing process is highly complex, with many parameters affecting the final NK cell number, phenotype and purity. Standardized methods are required for the manufacture of a high number of clinical-grade NK cells for optimized infusion into patients.

Are you interested in learning how to design your NK cell manufacturing, whilst ensuring compliancy and quality in your cell product?

Watch this webinar, as Dr. Antonio Perez-Martinez (Head of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Service, University Hospital La Paz) discusses the optimization of NK manufacture protocols, the impact of the starting material on the final product, and provides a glimpse into the clinical data results of infused NK cells.
