Made Q4 way too complicated. Could have just done (5-3)/5 = 0.4, and then 0.4x2 to get 0.8, and add it to the five to get 5.8. Do the same with Y. Didn’t need any algebra at all 😂😂😂

I don’t even do further maths but I have an exam for a school and to do further maths in a level I need to sit a further maths paper

we did not have the option of further maths in my school, when in year 9 which is when you are introduced to it, but my school now does further maths when I am in year 10, and the year 9s have the option to do it
I would have liked to do it ugh

Is it true to say that GCSE Further Maths is similar to normal mathematics in A-levels? Because I know that the gap between GCSE Maths and A-level Maths is huge, so I'm thinking that by doing GCSE Further Maths you might have an easier time bridging that gap as it is similar to what you would do in normal maths at A-levels.

I don't even take Further Maths (Yet) 😭 But i'm the best in my class so they should move me up to the Further Maths Class (Update: I’m in top set and I’m doing further maths)

As if you have to do derivatives in GCSE!!! I've done my gcses and A levels and never came across derivatives until university!
