Forest River Flagstaff A-Frame Camper - Season 3 Review and Use
In 2019, we decided to add a Forest River Travel Trailer to the Happy Trails Hiking family. We bought a 2018 Flagstaff 21TBHW. We call it "Alf" = A-frame Living Facility Please subscribe if you enjoy finding out more about where we take Alf!
"Alf"is a 21 feet long and 7 feet wide popup camper. As you can see from the picture it is an A-frame camper as well. We like that it is hard sided and easy to set up. It even has a FLUSH TOILET!!! We store Alf in our garage when we are not camping. We have not had any leaks and we do camp in the rain.
In this video, You will get a Flagstaff A-frame camper review. You will see how we use the storage spaces and the changes we have made and how we use it. Lastly, you will hear how we like it after 3 seasons.
We looked at A-Frame campers for quite awhile and we are pleased with our choice for our first camper. We really liked the options and quality in the Forest River Flagstaff A- frame camper.

I have the same camper without the Tapout and it is great . After some modifications we have used it many times up to 3 months .

We love our A213hwesp. We have made shelves for our dry food over the sink. We have plastic drawers for our clothes and sit them on the end of our dinette we go for 1-2 weeks at a time . We are also on year 3 and would not trade it for anything
Thanks for sharing

I havnt gotten any notifications on your videos lately, we are looking at getting a camper, , we have always stayed in hotels, b&bs, cruise ships. But with covid and us getting older we are on a more restricted diet so having your own place and being able to cook your own food would be nice. I have been looking at teardrop campers but most have no storage, your camper has incredible amounts of storage compared to teardrops and alot of small campers. Only concern is how it holds up construction wise, leaks? Strong winds etc.😎😀

Terry loves A-Frames so we will enjoy this review! Looks like you have a lot of storage! Love the sink! It looks a lot roomier than I thought it would be. We will be going full time soon in our tent... We decided we wanted to be closer to nature. Enjoyed the review guys!! 💗👍

I’ve been looking at A Liners for a while now but this is the first Forest River I’ve seen. Looks like the Forest river offer more storage. Thanks for sharing

Interesting review. It seems alot to do with the style of camping you want. This summer we did 2 weeks in the Adirondacks without electric hookup. It was awesome and cool enough to not need AC. We store our clothes in bins under the table as we do not use it either.

Love the name. Thanks for the review. I was looking at a Jayco toy hauler but it doesn't have a toilet. It does have a lot of storage space.

While I’ve had various campers, including several pop-up campers. Currently have a 30’ towable RV with slideout and the space is great, but it’s time to downsize. This A frame seems like a compromise between a full fledged hard sided RV and a pop up camper. Looks very easy to set up. It doesn’t sound like you’ve had any major maintenance issues but would like to confirm that. Of course garage storing it help extends its life.

I have basically the camper. Completely self-contained and comfortable for two. We would like to add a third bed, but cannot figure out how to do it.
