Recovering A SxS From Golden Spike Trail

We got a call on a hot afternoon for a can-am with no steering. So Mike and I grabbed trailmater and the recovery trailer and headed out. After some discussion about the quickest way in to them, we decided to go in thru Rusty Nail Trail. The distance is shorter but the trail is harder, but we figured with the heat the quickest way would be best. It was quite a struggle to get thru the first part of the trail but we made it to them still quicker than going around. We loaded it up on the trailer and the customer rode in the rig on the way out. It was funny because he watches the channel and said the trailer always looked unstable to him, but after riding on it out he said it was amazingly stable and never felt uncomfortable. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Don't change a thing Rory. The door swings both ways and the ones bitching can go back out the same way they came in. "Keep on keeping on" 👍💯

Please do what makes you happy. I've edited video in the past, it wasn't easy. I appreciate you taking us along for the ride.

From day 1 on your channel, you’ve always been straight about doing things your way, and if people don’t like it they can take a hike. I have as much respect for that persistent integrity and genuineness as I do for your remarkable skills as a mechanic, driver, father, friend, and ability to be respectful to customers who screw up and should have known better. Don’t change a damn thing. You keep being you and stick by your guns. And thanks for the best YouTube Channel there is!

I love the undercarriage shots. You can learn from them. Off-road suspension study is an engineering tool !!

I love the undercarriage shots. They are awesome and really show your rig working. You guys do great work, its VERY hard to film and actually do the job at the same time!

Don’t change a thing Rory I would watch anything that you post man. The recoveries are amazing what you do is amazing. Haters are gonna hate like you said in the beginning if they don’t like it, they can unsubscribe and watch something else. I’ve been here for a long time, and I’ve never watched a video and said man this is boring it’s never boring, keep up the good work, Mike, Rory and Sean @Trail Mater

Hi, Rory:

Your videos do much more for us than you may think.

I mirror your videos onto my 60 inch TV, giving me a wonderful view of the recovery.

Not only that, but the incredible scenery is beyond amazing, and we don't have to trek way out there in 115 degree heat to experience it.

Your truck is well equipped, and a natural beauty, --kinda like Merlon's. What critics don't realize is that you and the truck take a severe beating everytime you bounce all over hell's creation getting to the wounded vehicle.

It's almost akin to feeling as if you were in an accident with alarming regularity, and suffering Bumps and bruises that you never mention in the shows.

Keep doing your videos exactly the way that you feel is best.
It's bad enough wrecking your body and truck on every extraction without having to explain every detail to unknowledgeable armchair critics.

As a former wrecker operator, I like watching what you do. Frankly what you do and where you do it scares the crap out of half the time. I see how challenging the terrain can be for you. you equipment and thought process is fascinating to me. I'll keep watching from a far.

I prefer your and Casey's approach, where you do your jobs and just film what happens without trying to create drama or content. Keep up the good work! Oh, and congrats on getting the new shop! :>)

I don't know how you could appreciate the difficulty of some of these obstacles without the undercarriage shots. Not to mention the innovative engineering Rory has put into his recovery tools. Like another poster said, keep on keeping on. You have a great formula.
