and get life changing tips.
Thank you for your support 🙏

After this video, you will know exactly what you're doing wrong on your forehand. Also after this video, you will know what to do and what are the next steps on your forehand to have a better forehand. In this video we talk about the best grip on your forehand. Why it is important to stay away from the continental grip because it's too flat in today's game of tennis Also, stay away from the full western grip as it is too much over and on the lowballs you're going to struggle and if you hit the ball late you're going to be in big trouble. The ideal grip on the forehand is to really focus on eastern grip, semi western grip or right in the middle of Eastern and semi Western which is the Hawaiian grip. This is the ideal grip on the forehand and you'll get the most benefit out of this grip. Secondly, very important to make sure that you don't pull your left arm too much too soon on the forehand. You will use your left arm to generate some power. But if you pull it too much, you will lose control also want to make sure that you do not pop up on your Forehand. A lot of players setup for the Forehand but then they jump up as they're about to hit their Forehand. You want to stay down before and after the shot this will help you with your balance. Very Important also is to make sure that you do not have your hips stuck behind you. Whether you're going closed stance or open stance, you really want to make sure that your hip comes through for momentum and power and this will also help you to go forward with your bodyweight. Lastly, you want to watch the ball long enough. Many players pull away their eyes from the ball too soon. And this causes them to lose accuracy and timing. You do not have to watch the ball like Federer but you do want to try and keep your head still and keep your eye on the ball as long as possible. Enjoy having a better forehand after watching this video.

“Hit three balls” or “try to knock three coke bottles off a table” was such a huge game changer for me when I heard it a couple years ago, you can basically be a little sloppy everywhere else but if you remember that your ground strokes will still be pretty solid.

The ball goes where your body goes was a huge help, thx coach

HI Coach Pieter, this is amazing rules and tips you are giving here. It's incredible how this applies to so many persons.
Thank you for your help and time.
Allow me please to ask you if you could share with us a video more focused on the tip #2, #3 and #4.
For my case, i know that i do lot of longs balls due to the fact that i open up quickly with my left hand and i dont know exatcly if there are any drills to stop this or avoid opening to much.
Also for the tip #3, i do have the same case as i do not find any solution to stabilise when hitting, it like i jump at each stroke.
Many thanks for your help and time again.

Wrist has to be a little more level at impact. Breaking wrist at impact can be mastered but anyone can look at slow motion forehands of Lendl, Agassi, Djokovic, Federer. The very best don't break the wrist at impact. Under the greatest pressure breaking the wrist at impact can be problematic.

mate i am so confused about the racquet angle right now - do you have video about this - i am sure every says it should be square but your racquet is point to the ground with the top hedge ahead of the bottom edge - i feel if i try and play square....it doesnt work
