making female custodes is so lazy. there's so many ways to introduce female characters into a warhammer story without retconning anything. There's female Aeldari, sisters of silence, sisters of battle, rogue traders, navigators, imperial governors, followers of slaanesh and even tyranid swarm ladies. they just hate the idea of any group being exclusively for men so they ignore anything that's already inclusive.

If they needed more female respiration then why not have the show explore the Sisters of Silence or Sisters of Battle? There are already all female divisions of the Imperium, there is absolutely no justifiable reason to radically change the lore like amazon has done.

40k is the most inclusive lore universe out there. Sisters of battle, the gard and the assainorum to name a few. Then you have Slanesh, Drukari, you even have the little people that can play space dwarfs. The lore is rich with DEI opportunity that work without compromising the lore but the idiots at Amazon just want to ignore all that because some activist is upset that it wasn’t their idea.

I goes to show that Amazon doesn’t know Warhammer’s lore considering we have the sisters of battle and silence, yet they try to change something instead. Why does this happen in so many productions? They disregard the existing characters in favour of making new ones. Why? Too lazy to study the lore? Too up their own ass to respect the fans?
