Entering China's Tropical PARADISE 🇨🇳 I S2, EP65

I am again exploring the rural areas of China 🇨🇳, but this time of the smallest and southern most province of Hainan. Hainan is the tropical paradise for Chinese people especially during winter when its mildly warm there. I am heading from Haikou to central Hainan to see the rural part of the island, meeting its friendly people, and trying betel nut which has an old tradition in Hainan.

I will never forget my first trip to Hainan from Guangzhou by overnight train. I could not believe that the entire train was loaded on to a ferry boat with vehicles on one level and people on top Haikou. After crossing the straits, the train unloaded and continued to Sanya. A marvel feat of engineering! Haven't lived in Hawaii, Hainan is my favourite tropical paradise.

Thank you for showing Hainan Island. My father was born there, he and his family migrated to Malaysia when he was twelve. He speak excellent English with a British accent. For your information, Hainan is visa free up to 30 days for passport holders of most developed countries in the world. You can visit the island without a visa.

Back in 1965 when I visited my grandparents with my father, my grandma was eating betel nut using leaves just like what you shown on your video. I like the drone view, excellent vantage.

It's an amazing adventure to Hainan. There is a wide variety of tropical fruits and abundance sunshine, which makes Hainan a sure must stayover holidays! Never heard of filling in such a long lottery ticket but what passion for the locals. Your travel reminds us that we are forgetful people, when we are too excited to see and explore new places. Thankfully the baggage is not lost! Travelling through the city and marketplaces makes me very happy. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour!
