Never understood why anyone would think they should be released, given the facts.

NO! THEY SHOULD NOT BE RELEASED. THEY WERE OLD ENOUGH TO LEAVE HOME, IF THEY WERE BEING ABUSED. INSTEAD, THEY CHOSE TO KILL THEIR PARENTS IN COLD BLOOD. THEY COULD HAVE PRESSED CHARGES AGAINST THEIR PARENTS, AND TAKEN THEM TO COURT. WITH THEIR MURDER, THEY WERE LEFT MUTED. THESE TWO, after the cold blooded murder, LIED AND WENT ON A LAVISH, SPENDING SPREE. 😢

Thanks for saying this, Pat. When I say these things in chats, they are not well accepted. My husband said I was the kindest person he ever knew. There are only a few crimes where I think long terms in prison are applicable, and never the death penalty. These fellows did such a crime. The young generation says they were eaten up with remorse before they were arrested. It looks to me like they eased their grief and remorse by spending money. 🤔

Thank you for standing against the tide, Pat. Popular society's current take on this duo is scary. The Menendez brothers' claim they were in imminent fear for their lives, yet their parents were eating popcorn, sitting on the couch, watching TV. They were not a threat. The brothers could have left. They wanted the money.

I certainly hope they're not going to be released because of some stupid netflix show and pressure from those who watched it. They slaughtered their parents and it was not self defense. They were out partying and spending the money before they got caught. Keep them where they are.

My uncle did forensics on this case and then was called to testify.
These men are exactly where they should be and need to remain.. just as the jury decided…
Not the social media armchair detectives of today that get their opinions from Netflix or any other rag mag network. It’s scary to think that public sympathy would or could ever change a murders conviction, same with Scott Peterson.

Excellent analysis and summary of the latest turn. I completely agree with you and always have. Both have exhibited serious signs of psychopathy, it's blatantly clear, I've always found them to be extremely manipulative, playing the victim card, ice cold and unable to feel remorse or take any accountability. Pathological liars should not be trusted to have suddenly developed a moral conscience. They shouldn't be released.

They started to spend a lot of money right after the murders and I don't like them to be set free. They're still dangerous in my mind.

It's easy to accuse someone after they were dead, when they can't defend themselves. They were grown men and could have left.

Nice one, Pat. Never forget the case of Jack Unterweger, the Austrian serial killer who was the *cause celebre* of the liberal media, but went straight back to killing when he was released from prison.
