If I had a nickel for every time an aquatic, eastern dragon inspired kaiju appeared in a Godzilla movie and died less than a minute after, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't much, but it's odd that it happened twice.

Great opening for a Godzilla film. I like the design and the homage to Atragon by freezing Manda again. I wish all Godzilla movies started with something like this...

I like to think Manda's pieces regenerated (as they did for "Reptilicus", a similar movie monster). Whether into a single creature again, or into many -- who can say?

The CGI scenes look cool. I wished he could fight or fight alongside Godzilla. Manda could have been utilized better.
