As an Australian I would like my country to buy a mixed fleet of 50%--50% of both jets. I am sure that the MIG would be far cheaper to purchase as well as to run. Because Australia is an American puppet, for now, there is no chance that we will buy Russian fighters in the short term, however in the future it may happen. We have been buying the f-35, however it does not have the range, speed, payload, or agility necessary for my country.

Ill make it very short, sweet, and simple... Mig-35, is a Mig 29 with updated avionics, weapon systems, and slightly better fuel economy... SU-35 is an SU-27 with a greater ferry range, updated avionics, updated weapons systems, and thrust vectoring... Both planes are capable of sensor fusion with each-other, the SU-34, and the SU-57.

The Mig-35 is a tactical lightweight multi roll fighter with enhanced dogfight and interception capabilities, while the Su-35 is a heavyweight strategic air supremacy fighter/bomber .. there is no comparison to being with .. it’s like comparing apples to oranges?!!

I think the MiG is more suited for local domestic defense and the Sukhoi for longer flight paths.

You got it wrong quite a lot. )

MiG-35 range (internal fuel) is 3000-3100 km (two vs. single pilot). Su-35 has 3600 (on intrnl). The difference is not that significant provided that Mig is appr. 1, 5 times smaller than Su.

MiG has 9 hardpoints (4 on each wing + 1 on the belly). Besides that it can carry two recon containers\anti-missile defence sensors on the engine inlets. U can't have a bomb or a rocket there but still it is some kind of a hardpoint (Su will have to get rid of a bomb\rocket on one hrdpnt if it is required to carry some external recon equipment). The armament load of MiG is 9 tonns (that is with reduced fuel capacity. Which is huge for a classic aerodynamic scheme of that size to begin with. For example, a bigger F-15 has a max range of 2000 km on internal).

Su-35 has 10 hardpoints. Because the 2 (of original 12) on the wingtips are taken by the EW pods. MiG has a built-in ElctrncWrfare station from the very beginning (since MiG-29A) and an extremely advanced missile detection system (2 of them, in fact: upper\lower hemispheres).

MiG-35 is still the qickest climber of them all (330 meters per second) 51 years after it was concieved. 51 years is more than half a century, in case u didn't get it. And MiG's rate of climb is better than anybody's else before or after (Rafale coming second close with 305 mps. Or Typhoon with claimed 315, however it is more often credited with 300).

one is 6ft 5" 300 ib stocky, mean linebacker & the other 6ft 205 ib lean & agile quarter back. You want BOTH if you want the ball in your opponents net & not yours or a stalemate mid field huffing & puffing. 🤫
I only have a 3 bd 2 bath on 2400sqft, I'd sleep a whole lot better wth BOTH of these taking up the driveway . The stupid little car will be okay sleeping on the grass. 🤷🤙

Good to hear proper pronunciation of aircraft type. Yes, it is pronounced sue-35, not s u, since people don't, say m. I. g. 29, they say mig-29. S. U. sounds more macho and assertive.
