About 2 weeks ago @imjoshv showed us the brand new Bauer Premium Auto Detailing Hose Kit for Wet/Dry Vacs from @harborfreight . As soon as I saw the color I had to go pick it up. Plus I needed a second hose anyways.
Lets see my thoughts and opinions on this hose as compared to Josh's (one of my favorite detail channels BTW) video, as well as seeing how it compares to the industry standard Ridgid Detail Hose Kit. Is this the new Hose to upgrade your Wet/Dry Detail Vacuum?

I bought this a week after it came out, wow I love it. The regular craftsman hose I couldn’t get anywhere with it in vehicles but now I’m sitting in the front seats an vacuuming everything so easily

The only comparison worth mentioning is ridgid is $55, while bauer is $25, maybe $20 with a harbor freight coupon.

I also happened to see Josh V’s video and I ordered the detailers kit myself. It just so happens that it was delivered today. Unfortunately, it’s raining outside and I won’t get a chance to work on my car until tomorrow. I’ve been looking for a set like this for quite some time now. I have an old Sears/Craftsman wet/dry vacuum. The price is a steal and now I don’t have to waste money purchasing another vacuum just for car use. If you have a wet/ dry vacuum this is something that will seriously upgrade your vacuum. Worth the investment.

I've got a small armor all wet/dry vac. the 2.5gal.
hose ends are both 1-1/4 male.
would I be able to unscrew the vac side hose on Bauer and add that 1-1/4 adapter to use with my vac?

Geeking out is one thing and I agree with certain stuff. The Rigid tools, however, are ALL orange and black, so the company has no reason to mismatch their own accessories and tools parts with the color red.
