*Great **Generater.Systems** so far. We have the same brand just a little less power. This one is so much quieter then our first one. Great buy*

Beware of scammers/spammers who have infiltrated the comments, posing as me. I'm blocking/deleting them as I see them, but they keep coming back. YouTube can do better than this!

Most good quality power stations with lithium batteries should have a built in high temperature cut-off, and a low temperature cut-off. The battery management module should stop sending current to the battery during charging if the temperature of the battery is below water freezing (0 degrees Celsius) or water boiling (100 degrees Celsius). Although you did the right thing to move it, the power station should protect itself automatically.

I loved movie night using that thing, but I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but should have used a cheap low power projector and a roku or something to stream a movie to it and see how long it would run that way... I reckon more than entire night lol Good video!

I have that same exact solar panel and I love it. Works great with both my Jackerys. FYI - 500w power generator WILL NOT let you run something that is 500w because it cycles up and down. Check your manual to see how much "usable" wattage you have.

Dude I love seeing solar panel power constantly evolving to become even better. I’d definitely use these on trips with the RV for the kids devices.

Important for anyone buying a power station: try to avoid getting one with lithium ion batteries as they wear out very quickly over a couple of years.
If you MUST buy a power station, look for one with LiFePO4 batteries. They tend to be on the more expensive side, but last up to 3 times as many power cycles

Off topic. Keep up the great work, man. Great videos. I hit the like before the videos start!

I can see this as being useful if you go camping and still want some creature comforts. The effectiveness of the solar panels depends on your location and sun exposure, and here it was nearly ideal, Las Vegas in the summer. In Maine in the fall it wouldn't work as well, especially with all those trees around! Still, in most places you could at least keep your phone charged, and maybe your laptop as well.

Interesting! Seems like the angle to the sun matters MORE than cloudy/clear conditions.

Thank you so much for the chance to win one of these! I've been a subscriber for a long time, and your reviews are so much fun to watch, and super useful. Cheers :)

It seems that the Power Station would be great to have around in case of a power outage, but I was wondering how long it will hold the power before it needs to be used? Can it be stored fully charged, for like say a month, before you need to use it?

Now the question is, can you run a long enough cable to a solar panels and charge and run things at the same time?

Because they say you can't have it in the heat, so if you had a long enough cable the panels can stay outside and the battery pack stays inside

I have a few solar generators and I love them!! They came in handy when the power went out and I had to use them to power a concentrator and a lamp!! Also to power a refrigerator!!

To calculate the optimal angle for solar panels, take your latitude and subtract 15° in the summer and add 15° in the winter. For Las Vegas, it would be 21° in the summer and 51° in the winter.

I don't have power outages but you never know. I like this especially for my fan. Gets really
hot upstairs. Thanks for doing an item that I normally wouldn't even know about. Love
your dogs. 🤗🤗

I am still trying to find a solar panel charge up solution that works in the winter when one typically does lose power for days to weeks at a time. Suffice to say, this would not be good enough. I don't live in a Sunny warm/hot state year round. My winters get bleak. And when the power is out, there is wind/snow/ice/cloud/rain situation in progress. And I need a solution where solar panels operate better than this. 9 hours for you would be 18 to 40 hours of charge time for me. Assuming it would work at all. That means I would be sucking juice again from the vehicle generator. Which I do already. Roof panels suck here too. So, yah, back to the drawing board.

That's quite an improvement from solar battery packs of just some years ago. I'm suspicious of that mah rating being highly exaggerated though. That's not very long for 30% of 150k mah.

Great review buddy.
I sure wouldn't mind having one of those solor panels.
Keep the great work coming brother. 👍👍
