We never get to see ichigos dad go all out. We never even get to see his bankai from what I remember. Not to mention he said he knew the final getsuga tensho and knew the regular getsuga tensho as well but we never see him use it.

I think aizens backstory is something like his parents got killed by ywhach and he realized how weak soulreapers are and he decided to take up a villainous role and messed with everyone to rise their powers to the pinnacle but he knew he needed something else, something stronger if he wanted to beat him. And that was ichigo… makes alot of sense to me, kind of like how zangetsu was a father role for ichigo, aizen looked over ichigo to make sure he was progressing and didn’t give him an opponent who he wasn’t sure he’d beat. He also protected the soul society by messing with yhwach perception of time. That should tell us hes not entirely evil or full of hatred for the soul society.
