For the rust encapsulator to work do you have to fully encapsulate it by spraying both sides of a panel? I have some stubborn spots where no matter what I do rust keeping coming back and bubbling the paint.

I have a 1983 G20 van, with rust & pitted holes on the inside fire wall, and around the window. I cannot weld or remove the metal. I've sanded the best I can, what products would you recommend to assist me?? Alex.

I know he said you can use either but why did he use glazing putty over body filler? I thought glazing putty was just for small pin hole not a skim coat.

I've got rust and inside the craters if you will there are remnant decayed metal. If I grind long enough on the spot I can remove said remnant within that pit. The issue I am having is I have a ton of that mess going on. If I were to use this product- fast etch then the encapsulator will those remnants within that pit stop rusting? Can I depend on that doing the trick OR do I have to be sure to remove the rust out of each pit to ensure that it does not return??

It may be a lot of glaze for just filling pin holes but maybe he has other irregularities he's trying cover.

I'm not a body guy but I was wondering why you apply the thin film instead of just scraping off the excess just filling the pits, thanks, like I say I know diddly about body work
