Also a big misconception, that most people don't understand that it's not that close as it appears. It's nearly quarter million miles away and takes 3 days to get there if we would use the same speed as the Apollo missions.

Funny how the sun and moon just so happen to appear the same size from our perspective but yet the sun is just the right distance for optimum temperature on earth, and the moon is the optimal distance for proper tide benefit. Just admit it, this universe was created with a design and purpose
