I thought that this was going to be another average boring tier list video, but then I saw it was by you and decided to give it a watch. The way you brought the community's opinion into it was just incredibly ingenious and entertaining. great video!

As someone with a statistics degree, I love the idea of this video! However, as someone with a statistics degree, I also noticed some sources of possible bias:

1. The rankings of the people you race against are likely similar to your own ranking, so this probably isn't representative of all Mario kart players
2. People's race choice could be influenced by the courses they played recently (I personally like variety within a Mario kart session)
3. If individual racers were present for many races, then their opinions could be overrepresented.
4. People's opinions could vary depending on other factors (lobby region, character & kart selection)

So I'd really love to see someone try to recreate this while addressing these. Still a great video!

I think a "One thing I'd change about every track" follow up video would be cool. Like if you could only make a single change to each track, what would it be? Shorter/longer, visuals, add/remove a cut, delete those trees on Mount Wario

As much as I get the disdain over bagging courses, I still can't bring myself to dislike tracks like Yoshi Circuit and Cheese Land (one of my favourites). Solely because I don't bag 99% of the time and actually driving around those tracks "normally" is very fun to me. Also, happy to see Bone-Dry Dunes getting some love. Easily a top 5 course in the entire game for me as well.

No matter how it plays, wild woods always gets me invigorated due the astoundingly SOULFUL world design and "atmosphere"

Dry Dry Desert is one of my favorite tracks. I just love item smuggling tracks in general and this is the biggest of all the bagging tracks. There is something satisfying being in 1st with a star or golden mushrooms.

I respect all of your opinions, in the video you gave reasons why you like and dislike each track and besides the anti bagging bias, each rating you gave felt as if there's no bias

Rainbow Road Wii U is also my favorite for the same reasons as you, ontop of its amazing music. From July 2014 to nowadays, I've always loved this course, tried to get records very close to WR ( down to 2s on Wii U, 2.7s on Switch ). Knowing the racing lines and the proper amounts of brake-drifting really lets you take-off from the pack, and fun fact, this course was my "Wild Card" when I went for a test to get into a team, the World Friend back in late 2014. It's my skills on this track that convinced them to let me in. Since then I often offer this course at the end of a winning clan war to my team if I know I'll be securing 1st 90% of the time.
While Wild Woods isn't that high for me, it's still top-tier for the simple reason that this track gives me MASSIVE NOSTALGIA from the racetrack "In The Trees" from the PS1/PC game "Smurf Racer!" also known as "3, 2, 1, Smurf!" in Europe, released in 2000. It was my very first videogame in early 2002, In The Trees was my favorite track for its enchanting music, and Wild Woods feels like de-aging by 50 years for me and eating grandma"s soup. Pure bliss.

I just started getting really into this game. Actually played my first online matches yesterday. Honestly I liked hearing your opinion on where you ranked each track and why. I would havd loved to see a video where you put them in order by how you ranked them and then show what the community ranked them. This video just flipped around. At least we get to hear your opinion as to why you ranked them the way you did. So it would have made more sense to me seeing them in your order. I’m still left wondering why the community ranked most of the tracks the way they did. Either way, great vid!

I’m so glad that I see someone else that actually likes Wii Grumble Volcano. Everywhere I go I see people dunk on it. It’s such an underrated track.
