PROLOGUE - For a New Life | Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Eternal Skies

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Eternal Skies is an animated series based off PMD Explorers of Sky. It is the first ever 3D animated and voice acted project in the community! It will take great inspiration from the official Beyond Time and Darkness anime shorts, but will remain faithful to the Explorers lore while having new elements to keep it fresh. Description: Grovyle meets up with Celebi somewhere in Deep Dusk Forest where the Passage of Time is set for he and Aero to travel to the past in order to save the world from falling into paralysis. Grovyle says his goodbyes to Celebi, a cherished friend and ally, before he and Aero walk into the light.

So a little thing someone brought up from the scene this is inspired from that I thought fit really well (and built the prologue around) and it kinda goes:

The light, which in this case is the passage of time, grovyle walks into symbolizes heaven, but not entirely the theological kind. This comes from a character who feels he has failed to help Aero fulfill his destiny and thus failed as his partner. In a way, i guess it is heaven, seeing that their friendship comes to an end at this moment. But it's more so his own heaven. "His own virtue." Where he can make celebi proud one last time knowing he did the right thing, where he can "set things right." Which of course comes with the end of all life in their world in exchange for the existence of another. But even with that in mind, Grovyle is willing to go through great lengths "for a new life" and will end up doing terrible things with good intentions as we see in the main story. "These go beyond the positive laws that support objective thought since the morality and heart portrayed here is subjective" at the end of the story the future world will die, but their spirits will live on in the new one. And somewhere in the past is a Treeko, a Duskull, and a celebi. All in which who will get to live under the forever blue sky as grovyle says. Or the "Eternal Sky" as I say 🥴 that is the new life

Look great! Really looking forward to this series. Just a tip, Grovyle's speech at 0:47 should really be delivered while looking at Celebi. I understand wanting him to face the camera while talking, but since Celebi is in the shot we see him turn away from the person he is addressing and speaking to thin air. This ends with him turning to Celebi at 0:58, a shot that breaks the 180 Degree Rule. I haven't animated anything in my life so feel free to completely ignore what I have to say, but I think you could have gotten better results moving the camera rather than moving the character.

Oh nice, I do hope this scene is shown in a flashback considering how big of a reveal grovyle is and everything else. Maybe in the special episode.

Especially because the storm sequence leaves so many questions.
