Gang Violence: Foreign Embassies Withdrawing Staff from Haiti

The gang violence in Haiti continues, the United States and other diplomatic missions have begun evacuating their personnel from the nation’s capital, Port-au-Prince.
One evacuation operation carrying staff from the German and European missions, was reportedly forced to turn down requests to help evacuate others on Sunday, as some in the diplomatic community in the country’s capital, worry about where the gang attacks could turn next.
The US military says it conducted an operation to airlift non-essential personnel from the US embassy on Sunday, to bolster the security of its mission in the capital.
